Affiliate Disclosure

Betbolts is a free-to-read website. We earn revenue two ways: (1) affiliate commissions when a reader signs up with an operator through one of our links; (2) display space on the editorial pages, clearly labelled. Nothing on the site is a paid post disguised as a review — every commercial arrangement is called out. In numeric terms, roughly 85% of our 2025 revenue came from affiliate commissions and 15% from clearly-labelled display placements on the news section. No single operator accounted for more than 20% of revenue, and we cap operator concentration deliberately so no relationship can distort coverage.

Any outbound button to a bookmaker or casino from a review, bonus card or comparison table is an affiliate link. Links from the Team page, privacy documents and news posts to third-party resources (GamCare, UKGC, industry press) are organic. The Advertising Disclosure banner at the top of money pages reminds readers of this. In the CMS, editors mark each outbound link as 'aff' or 'organic', and the front-end renders a small superscript badge on the affiliate ones so screen-reader users get the same disclosure as sighted readers.

Editorial and commercial staff sit on separate lists. Reviewers do not know the commercial rate on offer, and the commercial team cannot commission a review, edit a review, or influence a ranking. Verdicts are reached before the commercial call is booked, not after.

You pay nothing extra when you sign up with a bookmaker or casino through an affiliate link on betbolts.uk. The commercial rate the operator pays us has no effect on the terms you get: sign-up bonus, deposit range, cashout timing and wagering are identical whether you arrived from us, from search or from a television ad.

The UKGC's Advertising Rules on Marketing Communications (LCCP part 2, Ordinary Code) require affiliate content to be identifiable as commercial and to make clear when a link earns a commission. This page and the banner at the top of every money page are how we meet that requirement. If you spot content that reads like a paid post but is not disclosed, tell us at [email protected] — we take that seriously.

In practical terms: nothing. You get the same account, the same bonus and the same terms as any other player. The only visible signal that a link is affiliate is the small note in the review body and on this page. Rankings, verdicts and 'top pick' tags are not sold — they come from the 12-criterion rubric described in the Editorial Policy.
